Tiger By far the cheapest. Be warned:
They have a very strict policy of "check-in closes 45 minutes before scheduled departure". (They also have an unofficial policy of not leaving on time - bring a book, and don't be in a hurry.)
They're pretty tight on luggage too. Cabin luggage is 7kg - they weigh it too. If you're over, you pay. Same with check-in luggage: more than whatever you booked you pay. Check the rates on the website but it's an arm and a leg.
Having said all that for what you pay it's still a bargain.
Virgin Sometimes not much more expensive than Tiger, and they tend to have more flights. Also check in is more relaxed, and if you haven't got any check-in luggage you cna book online and go straight to the gate.
Qantas Don't fly them much, they were OK, you get fed which is nice.
Jetstar Never flown the J, I'm sure they're lovely.
