What to Expect at a Meditation Class

Enjoying life with a peaceful mind

These informal drop-in meditation classes are the ideal way to learn how to meditate. You can discover Buddhist approaches to the challenges of life and practice training the mind in an environment that is both supportive and casual. You don’t have to book in advance, just turn up on the night.

Each week we begin with a simple breathing meditation and then hear one of Buddha’s teachings and relate it to modern life. We conclude the class with a guided meditation, followed by discussions and refreshments. There is no need to attend every class in a set of teachings, just come to the classes that you can make. The classes start at 7.30pm and finish about 9pm. We recommend coming 10 minutes early so you can be settled and still when the class starts.

There is facility fee for each class to pay for petrol, publicity and venue hire.

Introductory Videos
