Saturday Meditation at Blackwood
Come and join us on Saturday mornings for meditation classes at Blackwood Uniting Church, corner of Main St and Coromandel Parade, near the roundabout. There is parking available in the car park at the rear of the church. (See below for maps.)
The Meditation classes start at 10am and finish at 11.30am, with tea and coffee available. There is a guided meditation, a talk by the teacher and discussion time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early so that you can enjoy a cuppa, relax and calm the mind before the meditation class begins.
Each talk is a part of a series and yet self-contained. You can drop into the series anytime and still feel that you have something worthwhile to take home with you. There is a facility fee of $12 to pay for expenses.
Experience
No meditation experience is necessary, the classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, and everyone is welcome. Chairs are provided - of course you can sit on the floor if you wish, but best bring a cushion.
Dates
There is a free public talk on Friday night, 17 September at 7.30pm and finishing about 9pm. No need to book, just turn up on the night.
Classes run Saturday mornings, 10am till 11.30am.
